Honor Student Banquet 2023 1. Launch BannerZest Pro 3.14 2. Open old file, "HonorStudents.bnz" (using the Water Apparition Theme - Baby Polar Bears) 3. Open Media Tab (Inspector - far right window) {Note: Due to a bug in the app, to choose a different Tab, you have to click on it and then Close the Window - then Reopen the Window by clicking on the Inspector Icon} { You will have to do this for any editing of the data (Grade) to get it to work} 4. Delete ALL students (click on the X in upper right corner of each picture) 5. Drag new student pictures to the Media Tab 6. Pictures can be re-arranged by clicking on the picture and dragging to the right up or down 7. Edit the two text names (Click once on Picture of student) [This should already be done if the pictures had the correct names to begin with] 8. Type in the Grade they are in: Senior - Junior - Sophomore - Freshmen YOU WILL SEE THE RESULTS OF YOUR NEW CREATION ON THE SCREEN (You may need to click on the "Reload" icon to check everything out) 9. 'Save' the new file - HonorStudents202X.bnz and DELETE the old "img", and "slideshow" folders, plus the 7 auxiliary support files. (Publishing will create all new ones) (if it doesn't create these, click on the "Set" button and re-choose the 'HonorStudentBanquet-BannerZest Pro' folder) 10. Now you are ready to Publish (upper right corner of Inspector) 11. Publish the new File [Local] to: (~/Web Files/LHS/Graphics/HonorStudentBanquet-BannerZest Pro) folder by Pressing the Publish Button at the bottom of the window (it will create new "img" and "slideshow" folders and the 7 other files) 12. Choose "Save as" to save the finished Composition to: HonorStudentBanquet-BannerZest Pro 1 ================================================================ 13. Since Flash is not supported anymore, you will need to use the "Screenium" app (in 'Applications 2' shortcuts) to capture the BannerZest Pro Video screen. To get the exact area, line up the Rectangle to the upper left corner of the Frame area. Drag the right Rectangle to edge of the Frame area. Drag the bottom of the Rectangle to the edge of the Frame area. The numbers will probably read: width 900, height 400. This will give you the white surrounding rectangle to show up. 14. Start Recording about 3/4th the way through (it won't actually start recording for 5 seconds). Let it run through the Video a couple of times. Then Stop it [Control-Option-C] and it will create a Composition file - choose to Save it to HonorStudentBanquet-BannerZest Pro. 15. Then Choose to 'Export' (Upper right icon) it to the Desktop - it will take out 15 minutes 16. Next drag a copy of the file to a Flash Drive to move it to the MacBook Pro 16" computer 17. Then you will need to Edit and Convert the .mov file to an .mp4 18. Now Launch “Wondershare Filmora 12” 19. Create new Project 20. Click on File - 'Import' (upper left) 21. Choose the Flash Drive and locate the movie file - then open 22. Now drag the little movie icon to the Time Line below 23. Choose Match Media (900 x 400) 24. Now drag the Red Slider to point where you want to really START 25. Click on the ‘Scissor’ icon on the Time Line to make a Cut and Split the video into two parts 26. Click on the Left side - it should show a Black rectangle around it 27. Go to the Edit menu and choose Delete 28. Now that will become the new START point 27. Now drag the Red Slider to point where you want to really end Optional (28. Move the Red line a little bit to the left then click on the Right side - it should show a Black rectangle around it 29. Click on the ‘Scissor’ icon on the Time Line to make a second Cut and Split 30. Press ‘Delete’ to remove the Right part, which will now become the END point) 31. Now click on 'Export' icon (upper right) 32. Choose .mp4 33. Name: HonorStudents202X 34. Save to: (others) The name of the Flash Drive (128 GB) 35. Transfer the new .mp4 file to WebProject on the Mac Pro computer Now go to WebProject/HonorStudents.html and find the area where the source name code is, highlight it and replace it with the new Video name For just 'showing' the file on the page, use this code
